Setting up forms (surveys) in Singu
In Singu you can configure a form that is either shown during ticket creation or filled in later inside the ticket.
Create a new form: Admin > Form list > New form.
Previously configured forms: Admin > Form list > Forms – List.
1. Creating a form
Open Admin > Form list > New form. A dialog opens with the following fields:
Title – name of the form, e.g. Hot work permit.
Type – defines the module where the form is shown. For tickets, choose Ticket forms.
Complex group – links the form to a group of complexes (a folder in Hausmanager). Leave empty if the form is linked to a single object.
Complex – the specific property, if the form should be linked to one object only.
Ticket type – restricts the form to a specific ticket type (e.g. Work registration).
Language – important: the form is only shown to users who use Singu in this language.
Show survey during new ticket creation – YES if the form should appear already in the creation dialog.
Blocked – No means: answers cannot be edited after the first submission.
Send PDF with changes after editing the ticket survey – YES if change notifications should be sent by email to everyone involved in the ticket.
2. Editing the form and adding questions
Once created, the form can be edited via the Edit button. Questions are added on the Questions in the survey tab.
Section – a heading on a grey background used to split the survey into groups of questions. Add via New section, edit via the pencil icon on the right.
Add question – click Add question and choose the question type (e.g. open question, file attachment, multiple choice).
For question types such as One answer from a list or Multiple answers from a list, remember to add the possible answers.
Important: You can decide whether a question is mandatory. If the form is shown in the ticket creation dialog and contains mandatory questions, the ticket can only be saved after all of them are answered.
3. Filling in the form
After configuration, the form appears:
during ticket creation, and
as an additional tab inside the ticket.
