QR codes for ticket creation

The Tag Manager in Singu allows you to create QR codes through which tickets are automatically generated with predefined values (complex, building, ticket type, etc.) after scanning – even without requiring a user account.

Step 1: Create a QR code / link

  1. Open Buildings > Tag Manager.

  2. Click + Add.

Step 2: Fill in the data

Fill in the mandatory fields (red asterisk):

  • Name – the name of the tag.

  • Complex and Building – tags are created per building.

Step 3: Choose the action after scanning

Select one of the options:

  • Create ticket with predefined parameters – creates a QR code for tickets that requires sign-in.

  • Create a public ticket with predefined values – creates a QR code / link that lets a user submit a ticket without a user account.

With the second option, fill in the remaining mandatory fields. These values are then automatically applied to every ticket created via this QR code.

Step 4: Creating a ticket

After scanning the QR code (or opening the link), the external person sees a ticket form. All status notifications for the ticket are then sent to the email address they enter there.
