Overview
Engineers can now issue parts to a ticket straight from the SINGU mobile app. Directly from the ticket you can create a GDN, choose the van or warehouse you're drawing from, add the parts and quantities, and save — all while on site. Stock, transactions, and the ticket's material costs are all updated automatically.
Why it matters.
Previously, engineers couldn't book van or store stock to a ticket in the field. Material costs got logged late (or not at all) and stock levels drifted from reality. Issuing parts directly from the mobile app keeps both costs and stock accurate at the point of use.
Who it's for
Mobile engineers issuing van or satellite-store parts on the job — starting with field teams who need to book stock to tickets on site.
How to issue parts to a ticket Open the ticket. Go to Inventory. Create a GDN. Pick your van or warehouse. Add the parts and quantities. Save.
After saving, stock, transactions, and the ticket's material costs are updated automatically.
Key benefits
Book parts to a ticket on the spot — no waiting to get back to a desktop. Accurate material costs captured at the point of use. Stock stays in sync with what's actually on the van.
Permissions and setup No new setup is required. Engineers only see the warehouses and vans they already have permission to access — existing permissions apply.
