AI Category Suggestions

Written by Paweł Czubacki

AI Category Suggestions is the first AI feature available in the Singu Tenant App. When enabled, the system automatically suggests the most appropriate ticket category after a tenant completes the title and description fields in the new ticket form. The AI analyses the text provided and populates the Category field with the closest match, helping tenants categorise their issues correctly without needing to understand the Facility Manager's category naming conventions.

Who is this for?

Tenant users submitting tickets through the Singu Tenant App.

How it works

After a tenant completes the title and description in the new ticket form, an "AI Thinking" notification appears above the Category field. The AI analyses the text and automatically populates the Category field with what it determines to be the closest match from the available category tree. The tenant can review the suggestion and adjust it if needed before submitting the ticket.

Key benefits

Shortens the ticket logging process for tenants.

Reduces the likelihood of an incorrect category being selected.

Tenants can describe their issue in natural language without needing to navigate the category tree manually.

Activation

The feature is controlled by two settings that must both be enabled:

Section

Setting Name

Description

AI Functions

Master Switch

Enables AI features globally on the instance.

AI Functions

AI Ticket Intake (previously labelled "AI-based autocompletion of new ticket form")

Activates category suggestions in the Tenant App ticket form.

Both settings are found in Application Settings → AI Functions.

Remember that!

📌 Note: The AI suggestion is a recommendation only. Tenants can review and change the suggested category before submitting the ticket.

📌 Note: AI feature labels in Application Settings were renamed to match current product naming. In addition to the "AI Ticket Intake" label used above, "AI analysis of an external report" is now "AI Report Reader", "AI Asset Mapping" is now "AI Equipment Capture", and "AI-based ticket thread summarization" is now "Ticket Summary".
